Paper Towel

Digital print on archival paper.

This piece explores the value of printed material. Taking a humble paper towel, which has been printed commercially on a large scale, and raising it up to become a piece in itself. By spending a long time scanning it, physically copying the nuances of the original paper towel, and then spending quite a lot of money to produce a high resolution duplicate changes how the viewer sees this quotidian object.
